Professor Grossman is one of the best professors at NEIU, in my opinion. His way of teaching reignited my interest to teach history at the high school level. His knowledge on History along with personality and sense of humor, make his courses intresting and fun. Highly recommend taking his class.
He's a hillarious guy, but I found him to be a really rough grader. He focuses on war/military aspects of Latin American history. If that's not your thing, take another prof..
SOOOOO GOOOOOD!!! I love/ed this prof.y. SUPER hillarious! Actually lived in Nicaragua for a time prior to pursuing a Phd. Really is a tough grader. Only a few books, but has lots of reserves to keep costs down for students in purchasing books. Got a B; and worked very difficult for it, but overall he is an excellent teacher. Remember-tough grader
I enjoyed his class, he was very knowledgeable, but is a very difficult grader. I went to class did the readings and all the papers and took notes. I still did badly. The first class that I ever did that bad in since I started college!! A's in my other courses with other prof.s.
prof. Grossman is one of the most intelligent and insightful prof.s at NEIU. If you do the readings and come to class, and ask about any questions on readings than you should be fine. The person below me is complaining about having to write citations in a paper but come on that is college and it is also the law.
Prof Grossman is one of the great prof.s so far. If you attend his courses, you can pass with great grades. He makes the class lively and fun besides of course making Latin American History seem very fascinating. Take his class for sure, very knowledgeable and accommodating.Plenty of extra credits if you don't do that well in your exams.
prof. Grossman is one of the great prof.s I have ever had. I am now a prof. teaching Latin American history and I still refer to the notes I took in his class 8 years ago! I should probably send him an email to let him know what an impact he had on me and how much he has influenced how I think and teach Latin American history.
great prof ever for latin american hist! Most hilarious out there guy but charming. Always was in a great mood. Class not mandatory but highly recommended since his exams are based on what he courses about. You need to be very alert and be able to keep up with him and write down everything. His exams are simple if you study your lecture notes.
he is a little excentric but he knows his material, just 3 exams, he does offer extra credit, great teacher learned alotabout latin america history
he is great, I never dreaded going to this class even though it was at night. Anyone who doesn't like his probably didn't go to class. |
