I took Dhiensiri for Fin 360, Fin 366, and am planning on taking him again in the near future. That is how great of a teacher he is! He explains everything clearly and his examples from class are very similar to the questions on exams.
Nont is the ultimate finance prof. He's to the point, clear, and always willing to help. He's got a great sense of humor which helps cause this things is dry. 3 exams (15 questions each) and 4 HW projects. If you got to class, you will understand everything. If you don't, could get dicey...
Great prof. course consists of two exams 20 questions mc and a final and a group project. Just study his power point slides and you'll do fine.
A great prof.; one that could teach. He makes the material simple to comprehend. All questions on the exam are topics he went over in class. In other words, no trick questions; very straight forward. I'd say he is one of the better prof.s in the university. You will learn from this guy.
I took FIN 360,366 and 373 with him.He is one of the great prof.s at NEIU. Teaches the material clearly, gives a lot of examples, makes sure that students understand and progress in his courses. I would recommend him to everyone who wants to learn a lot in finance.
I was looking for Dhiensiri to teach at least one graduate finance class this fall, but he is not there. Too bad. I was really hoping for it. Can't forget the simple experience with his fina360. it was a class i took before and had to drop. The guy teaching it was illiterate. Then, comes Nont, and it was so simple. One of the great instructors at neiu
Great command of a classroom. He makes the material as fascinating and understandable as it can be. I didn't like the exams because they were multiple choice (in other words, no partial credit!) Relies primarily on powerpoint slides for lecture. I like him...wish I'd taken him for 360. He may be the great in the finance dept. Expectations are clear.
Nont gets aggravated when students have side conversations. Explains everything well & shows how to use the calculator, but is very arrogant. He can tend to go fast. Don't miss any courses. Will answer all questions in class and damands participation. Never used the book only the powerpoints. He allows a cheat sheet for exams front and back page.
One of the great finance prof.s at NEIU !!! Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable, accommodating, gives excellent notes, explains really well. Try not miss courses. Gives you a chance to ask questions.
Took the online class, pretty tough. We met once a month to review and for exams. I thought I knew the material until I got the exam scores back and they were only so-so. You have to read the book and his outlines. very help, but finance is just difficult, and there were some pretty bad exam scores in my class. Though I'd get a B, but got an A.
Without a doubt, prof. D is one of the great if not the great finance instructors at NEIU. He gives excellent lecture notes that are crucial for doing well on exams. Dhiensiri also cares about his students by providing several opportunities to ask questions I would take him again since he is one of the great business prof.s at NEIU.
I like Nont. He teaches you step by step how to use the financial calculator to solve problems which makes life a lot easier. My friend took another teacher and I actually taught her how to use the calculator. He allows cheat sheets but make sure you make a great one or else you're screwed during the exam.
outstanding prof. !!!!!! THE great !!! sign up Early ! He actually teaches you how to solve problems, use the financial calculator. His notes are great, enough for the exam, don't even need the book, 3 exams, no h/w, no tests, But try not to miss courses and pay attention when he explains, or you will miss a lot. Great prof.! Highly recommend
He is really friendly and very accommodating. Listen carefully in class he will teach you how to use the calculator, I almost failed the class but the material was difficult and he taught vey friendlyly. He is very conservative. |
